Which suspension setup would be better?
Which suspension setup would be better?
Which would be a better setup for a daily driver with stock springs and 17 x 9.5 wheels? Bilstein HDs all around and BMR tubular A arms or Koni SAs front, Bilstein rear and stock A arms? I'm leaning toward the first option. Any thoughts?

3) Bilstein HD's all around, stock a-arms, but that's me
This is a daily driver, I'd ask: What value are you getting out of aftermarket a-arms? How often do you expect to adjust shocks, for the street, and what would be the circumstances that would cause you to adjust them?

Hey, Dave!
What value from A arms? Whatever increase in stiffness they offer, poly bushings, uh...cool factor? Would they improve steering response by themselves?
I guess my thinking on A arms is, even though I've read over and over here that aftermarket (poly bushed) LCAs are not beneficial to handling, I like the way my car feels much better with them. Maybe there is a similar benefit to A arms?
As far as shock adjustment, it would be a set 'em and forget 'em in all likelyhood. To be honest, I'm not at all sure I could find any optimum dampening setting. But I get the impression that Bilsteins are damped a bit on the soft side. Are they close to optimum for the stock springs, and is revalving mainly for stiffer springs?
