Subframes welded?

Question Subframes welded?

Anyone know a good place in northern virginia to get Subframe connectors welded? Thanks

Yea, I got mine done at Curry's auto ( http://www.currysauto.com ). They all race there, though mostly german cars. Make sure that they weld it when the tires are weighted (as in its not lifted by the jack points, but its resting on the tires) when they are installed. Ive had them do all the work except for the clutch in my car. They are a little expensive, but they seem to do a pretty good job. Not as good as if I did it myself at times, but who is going to do a better job than you? If you call the Sterling store, ask for Chris. He just gutted his M5 for road racing (glass removed out of the side windows, roll cage, etc). Fun just to see whats in the parking lot there. They usually like to order your parts for you, so if there is a problem they go right back to the dealer, rather than to you to the dealer. They sometimes mark it up a little bit though...
