Setting up car for road racing

Is it necessary to lower your car with the Eibach pro kit or the like? I am wondering because I see double adjustable stuff is insanely more expensive.

Single adjustable appears to be able to work with lowered cars but the only difference that I can see is that single must be removed to change the setting?

I know for the most part the suspension components required to do this setup but would like to know the optimal setup and what is absolutely required and what can be left out for a while without having to completely change my setup.

I suggest you talk with Sam Strano at Stranoparts.com. He's a road racing expert for F-Bodies and very helpful.

Really depends on what "single adjustable" versus "double adjustable" components you are referring to. single adjustable shocks are fine. I ran a single adjustable panhard bar on my car as well. It was much stronger than the BMR double adjustable that I had on the car previously..

Sam Strano is the best person to talk to, as stated above. I've never actually spoken with him myself, but I hear he's one of the nicest guys in the business, as well as the best at 3rd and 4th gen suspension setup.
