Rear end question

I've noticed lately that when doing a turn the rear end of the car seems to almost slide side ways to the outside. I don't mean spinning out, it's like the rear wants to slide of the rear axle while the inside kinda pushes over. It's more noticeable in left hand turns being that it's a wider radius. The only suspension mod is Eibach prokit springs, but they've been on since 17k miles and it went some time before this showed up,the car now has 48k. Could it possibly be the stock shocks are worn out. I was thinking of installing a set of Bilstiens, I'm not looking to do any autox just want the car to ride better. Any ideas? Thanks

The stock shocks are not good to start with and then they wear out after 30K miles. That's the first place I'd start. Good shocks on a F-Body make ALL the difference in the world. Some Bilstein HD's would be great.

you didn't say what kinda tires you got

like steve said, your shocks are prob dead too

also, your auburn limited slip is probably shot and you have no limited slip ability. that's what happened to mine. just posi all the time. i swapped in the SLP take off torsen and it made a big diff. shoulda got the T2R though

Yep, can't wait until my T2R gets here. I think Sam is holding it up so I won't intimidate him when he comes down here in February for the Pro Solo...

Thats what I was feeling on my stock shocks at 40k miles.. Feels kinda like just the axle is flopping inside the body.. Replaced the shocks and it disappeared.
