Re-buildable front hubs

Just an FYi for every one out there....I've come up with a way to re-build our front hubs. I will have a set done this week and will test them at our next event at Road America. With any luck we may never have to buy another hub again!

How often do you replace yours? I've replaced both fronts once at the beginning of last season, and I'm not convinced they were needed then.

I would like to hear how they work out.

I popped one at TWS last year and replace them both at that time, but really wondered why they weren't rebuildable.

I've been replacing them about once a year, or about 10 events. They stay tight for 7-8 events and then get loose fast. They are held together by a collar that is swaged over the inboard stub of the axle. I'm going to machine threads into the stub to accept a castellated nut. Still need to find a P/N for the grease seal.
