Prospeed brake kit..still available???

I tried e-mailing Mike about this kit but my e-mail server keeps sending them back as undeliverable. I haven't been in the loop much as far as these brake kits go as I just discovered them last week. I understand that there is a limited supply left and would very seriously like to buy a kit. Does any one know, since these kits will no longer made what one would do for a replacement rotor. Would the Eradispeed or Brembo rotors work with the Porsche caliper. I really don't need the caliber of this kit but so they're so cheap (comparitively speaking) that I can't really pass it up. I hope it just not to late to order some. Thanks for any and all input.

The rotor, like the caliper is a factory Porsche part. It is re-drilled to accept the GM wheel hub. Try calling him. He always returned my calls if he was not in.

I hope Micheal is still around because I do not have all the parts for my kit.

I do have all of the brackets, shims, bolts and lines. Just no calipers or rotors yet.

Calling is probably the best bet but he should get back with you on email relatively quickly.

If you get ahold of him ask him when my rotors and calipers are going to be shipped.

As far parts, you will have to use Porsche rotors, or rotors made for the 996TT, same goes for calipers and pads. Surprizingly pads are not that easy to find, at least not at any local stores.

Check out LS1.com in the AutoX forum for a complete run down of the kit

I just rec'd my mounting kit yesterday. Just the h'ware. No calipers or rotors.

He's bigtime into aftermarket brake upgrades for various porsche, bmw, etc, etc. He will continue to source the rotors and the calipers and pads for the fbody conversion. I'll get my rotors and calipers for a winter conversion project.

If anyone is interested in a top notch Baer GT+ front upgrade conversion let me know off line (bicycle55@blazenet.net). I could be convinced to do the conversion earlier.

Regards
Steve
