I've heard the kits are pretty good. I think the bushings are basically the same as polyurethane. So, it should stiffen up your car some. Did you see the sell in the advertisers forum?

I was going to buy this kit until I called PST to ask what ball joint brand came with the kit; they said it was confidential info. I wasn't interested in potentially getting brand X, so I bought the ES bushing kit and Moog ball joints/tie rod ends from Summit. The entire setup costs about $250. Plan to install them over Christmas. I've read several posts from guys that are happy with the ES parts.

Hey Obe, I have the ES setup and Moog tie rods and ball joints. I am very pleased with this setup. Just be sure to use a lot of grease. That's what i did and have no squeaks so far.

I never knew what kind of ball joints and tie rods PST used either. The one thing i did like about their kit was that the bushings already came with all of the metal sleeving. Whereas the ES stuff does not. But, as long as you have access to a press everything is ok. Just takes a little time to press everything out and clean up the sleeves.

I have had the PST kit on my car since '98 I haven't had any problems till recently. My passenger side lower ball joint looks like its starting to go. But, I have put 60,000 very hard miles on that kit and the bushings don't squeek. But like I said I do have to replace the P/S lower ball joint.

What kind of mileage are you guys getting with the ES bushings?

The ball joints included in PST's kit are always either Moog or another OE supplier. You're not getting any "brand-x" or foreign garbage. Don't hesitate to send me an email if you have any other questions - I am an authorized PST retailer, and can answer the questions their salesmen can't.

It's good to know that somebody is willing to inform buyers about PST products. I was so frustrated with the PST Salesman that I took my business elsewhere...trade secret my ***!

I got about 500 miles and 3 autocrosses out of my Energy Suspension front bushings!!

Needless to say I wasn't too happy.

Everybushing is top notch no squeks etc. But the caster bushing on each LCA broke. They are a 3 piece design and the center piece broke in half and tried to spit itself out.

Several autocrossers have found the same thing to be true.

I feel I need the poly in my application to control camber by eliminating bushing flex. I did however replace that camber bushing with Moog stock type replacements. So all others are poly except those. I figure I will have to replace every couple years because of all the autoxing on 315's but they had a lifetime warranty.

One other note. E/S did say they knew of the problem. They sent a replacement free of charge. But to me it looked like the same thing I had. So I just installed the Moog part.
