Question Newbie Qs: Which springs are gray?

Recently bought a '97 SS that was lightly modified by a previous owner (uh-huh!) and I'm trying to figure out what the suspension is -- in particular, the springs.

OK, I know the shox are deCarbon, SLP SFCs, Hotchkiss panhard & lower arms. With factory 17" SS wheels and factory-spec Goodyear Eagle F1 245-40ZR17 tires, it sits 1 3/4" lower front & rear than my '96 V6. (Right about sittin' on the bump stops.)

The Q: The springs are dark gray, which rules out Eibach and SLP. Does anyone else use gray? Maybe they're cut-down factory springs?

Thanks for any help!

Factory springs are black, at least on my 94. SLP has several springs out there, so I'm not sure I'd rule it out, but who knows.

I've got blue springs (ST), and there are some yellow Hyperco springs, most of the rest are red or black...

The SS should have gotten 275 wide tires, unless it had 16" SS wheels.

SLP Level II "gray" (Eibach) / y2y SS
front 300 - 450
rear 115 - 185
lowering -0.75

These are the same springs SLP uses with thier SLP Bilsteins.
