Thumbs up Mid Ohio Track Event - Pics

Just got back from a two-day track event at Mid-Ohio last weekend. Thought I would post some pics from the event. We had about (8) 25 minute sessions on the track over the course of two days. One session was in a down pour, which was very educational.

This was my third year at Mid-Ohio...and it is incredible. Each year gets better. I actually had the car sideways twice this year, but was able to save it before going off-track. Once was throttle induced and the other was a result of trying to carry too much speed into turn (7).

Hope you enjoy the pics. I have a couple of small movie clips if anyone wants to host.

Nice pics man.... was this just an open track type of event, with all types of street cars out there practicing at the same time?

It was an event sponsored by a club that some friends belong to. There were various types of cars out there. It was an organized driver's school with both off and on track instruction. Each run group had around 20 cars in it and were about 20-25 minutes long. They follow a flag to pass guideline, where the driver being overtaken must signal you before you can pass. It is a great event for sure.
