Hey Guys,
How does the stock 4th Gen Rearend hold up while auto-x'n or road racing? Does anybody know the HP limits? What can be done to strenghten it up. Will welding the axle tubes to the center section increase strength? Any suggestions are greatly appricated.

 

The axle will hold up fine. Change the c-clips at regular intervals, thay take a beating. I'd been running a salvage yard ring and pinion in W2W for seven years before it finally let go.
