How to get D/E track time

I was going to take my 944 to Lime Rock or Pocono with the Porsche club when it was stolen. My local PCA region wont let non P cars run at their DEs.

Instead of getting another P car (and there is a decent one locally), what are some of my options to get track time at drivers education events for the camaro?

TIA

Try

http://www.nasaproracing.com/ and follow the links for HPDE.

in your area you can also try

http://www.scda1.com/

I have run both groups multiple times and have always been happy with the time/instruction that I have received.

You might also look at http://www.drivingevents.com/resources/tracks.html
The # of events shown for each track was the 2003 total. The 2004 schedule has not been completed yet.

They have nice in-car videos for some of the tracks.

BMW clubs don't care what you bring. Well, sort of. Anyway, you can participate and bring the C car to their events. Also, there are the Friday at the track events at various locations.
