Honest Suspension Help Needed!!!

I am about done with the new engine(~375rwhp), and I know that I am going to need the suspension to back it up. I am not going to do competitive racing, so I need a good solid everyday driver suspension. I just want a suspesion that handles good and provides a good ride. I am so torn between all the different kinds.

My original set up was going to consist of the Hal package(because of adjustability)with the front springs and something competive for the rear springs, bmr boxes subframes and lca with relocation brackets(poly/rubber mix:don't want full poly), shock tower brace, 1LE front/rear swaybars, and a bmr torque arm. Now I can't decided between the Tokico coilovers or the Bilsteins.

What does everyone think...is Tokico a good shock? I know everyone loves the Bilsteins, but will they be too aggresive? And will the HAL's not be what I want for the handling aspect? Thanks a ton!

I went with koni SA/bilstine HD shocks with the pro kit. I love my set up. IMO it's a good all aroud package. Big difference from stock. Good luck.

Thanks guys for the responses. Is that Koni/Bilstein set up the one that strano sells? So I take it the tokico's aren't that good then? So maybe I don't necessarily need the adjustable shocks and just go with the non adjustables then...there are just so many choices!!!

My sentiments exactly. On my 93Z I have the eibach pro springs & Bilsteins fronts, and boy that was sooo much better than factory.
I spoke with Sam, he likes the Eibach pro LS1 springs, they are a bit softer than before, and he also said that the shocks make the most impressive changes for handling. Sam's suggestion of the koni SA for the fronts & Bilstein 3rd gen shocks for the rear and a 35mm front swaybar will make a great everyday driver. Give him a call, he'll give you the lowdown, he knows his stuff.

I'll probably do the koni's all around...Just because.

Why 3rd gen units instead of 4th gen?

Sam says that the Bilstein 3rd gen rears are more responsive than the the 4th gen Bilstein rears...
See I figure that Sam knows what he's talking about, he's been doing autox for a long while, has set up many f-body's for autox & road racing, he knows what works.

I've got Sam's setup on my daily driven car and love it. I did it all at once and it is now a completely different car. It sees an autocross about once a month and is a very competitive set up. I've open tracked it once since the upgrade and my instructor couldn't believe how neutral the car is. Thumbs up to Sam.
