I'd like to install a fixed fire ext. I'm getting a car preped for Big Bend race sometime. Anyway the question is- no luffs- where do I stick the discharge nozzle? I haven't bought a system yet so I don't know if it has directions.
Do I aim it by my feet? From the overhead down?

Most install them on the floor, with the nozzle/s pointed for and/or aft. Don't point it directly at your face, just into the driver compartment.
P.S. Secure it/them to something solid so it doesn't get ripped loose in a rollover.

 

The rules perfer metal mounts for the bottle. Thanks.
