Check Valve removal

The hose for the air injection system on my car (Passanger side) that provides extra air for the cats to break down the CO is heating up and cooking and eventually breaking. I have been told the check valve that screws onto the pipe is bad and needs replaced. I have heard they are often very hard to unscrew since they are often really stuck on there. Has anyone replaced this check valve and provide any pointers for removing.

P.S. This is the 1000th Thread!!!

Way to go! You made the 1000th thread in fine style. Wrong forum.

Try the LS1 section instead of the autocross/road race section.
