best way to do doughnuts?

Find the biggest empty lot you can, (no light poles). Stop in the middle of it, turn the wheel full right or left and stand on it, keep turning. Watch your rpm's.

if the wheels are spinning alright, i couldn't imagine it being too punishing. Certainly not any worse than putting radials on a stock 10 bolt.
What RPM should you aim for?

i have done alot of them and have not had any of the above mentioned problems,
but its simple just turn your wheel, and have fun w/ the accelerator, do one then do another two, until you have the confidence then just make an a*s load of smoke...oh yeah and if you do it alot have some $ for tires

Just turn it far, not all the way...
and generally its not a good idea to do it often but you hae to do it a few times...

Re: best way to do doughnuts?
Like some of the other guys mentioned don't lock the steering fully one way or the other, it puts a ton of stress on the powersteering pump, and it will eventually blow if you beat on it like that. But, to do a nice one, just stand on the brake, give it some gas, (enough to brake the tires loose), turn the wheel depending on how big a radius you want and let off the brake, once you start turning you should be able to turn the steering so it's like fully opposite locked and basically just drift it around in a circle. Also, once you get the tires spinning, it won't take much to keep them spinning, so you don't need to rev the crap out of the motor, but as long as your not bouncing off the rev limiter for an extended period of time it won't hurt it. Basically if you find a nice big empty parking lot where you can't hit anything and you don't lock the steering completely for an ext. period of time you shouldn't hurt anything, (don't do burnouts or donuts or anything like that over choppy pavement, you'll put lots of stress on the rear), you should be fine. Hope you got $$$ for tires though, burnouts and dougnuts can be very addictive...Good luck and have fun

If you get bored with the above, Find a REALLY big parking lot, get going about 40 mph, slowly start turning more and more until your *** end starts to slide out, when it does, punch it, and hold on. Ive never had any problems with doing them, except for wearing out some tires, and in the snow, I hit a curb or three.

There are lots of ways, one of the easiest I have found and still tasty is to buy a tube of cheap biscuits. Shape them however you want and drop them in hot oil, fry them up for a short period then brush a mix of sugar/water on them and let it dry. Tastes great and its pretty easy.
Guess I have never done a full spin in the car. I have done some 180 turns. Just don't beat on it too hard. I am going to play with a 12 bolt and some junk tires tonight, might get some video.

No but me and my buddy have done them its easy...turn the wheel to the left and just let it all go.....of if your paint if its messed up and dont care about dirt or little rock chips...you always can go oin a dirt road turn leaft or right and hit the gas.....BUT if you do that JUST watch out for trees..lol
