Another lowering ?
Another lowering ?
I know lowering your car can upset pinion angle and suspension geometry. If I buy an adjustable torque arm and some relocation brackets I can correct this mishap, right?
I also learned the understeer will be a problem as well, do I need to buy a larger front sway bar?
I just want to do things right the first time. Thanks for any insight on my dilema.

adj torque arm and LCA relo brackets will correct the rear's geometry. But I disagree with the understeer. Lowering the front will give you negative camber and better bite from the front tires. Not to mention the stiffer suspension almost always found in lowering springs will reduce body roll. The 35mm front bar will help that too. With my DMS springs, adj phb and otherwise stock suspension I found the car to have considerably more oversteer. Be sure not to put a stiff sway bar on the rear unless your main purpose for the car is drag racing. For optimal cornering, you want the drive wheels to have more travel in the corners and for the other two to have a stiffer setup. Otherwise the bar will be trying to lift the inside rear wheel. Two tires are alway better than one in the twisties.
I just put the Eibach Pro Kit, Koni SA's and a Suspension Techniques 35mm front bar on my car this past Saturday. This was my first suspension mod so all other components are stock. The difference this made was dramatic and the car went from an understeering pig to a vehicle that will now oversteer with ease. The oversteer is very controlable with the throtle and does not come on suddenly.

I'm screwed! Now I'm finally gonna have to learn how to drive to be able to win.
With my tires, and and a car on jackstands, and me never making events, youg guys would be in trouble.
Just kiding of course, I hope you get it fixed soon.
This might be the first time in history that a thread gets moved from the Autocross section to the Florida section due to responses to the original post. LOL
See ya on the 25th Jeff. I can't wait to see the car!
