ZL1 Hood on LT1

Hey everyone,

Quick question for ya. Does anyone make a ZL1 style Hood (LARGE SS Ram Air) for an LT1?? If so, what company makes it?? I assume it's a fiberglass hood right?? Thanx for any help or input.

Rk Sport and DGM both make one.

But if you are talking about the LS1 style ZL1 hood on a LT1, that was a one-time custom job when the owner converted to the LS1 front bodystyle.

I have seen the RKsport one, and it looks pretty cool. However, I don't like the idea of "hacking" it out to make it functional.

What is this DGM one? Anyone have a link to this page? Is it functional? thanx again for the help.

DG motorsports site is:
dgmotorsports.com
They have it both in functional ram air and non fuctional, as well as carbon fiber if you so wish. They are a bit pricey, but look good. Its almost identical if not to the RK sport hood. I've heard mixed reviews though on RK fiberglass products. Hope this helps
Andrew

It is on the second page of 5 products. Sells for $625
Just click on the red LS1 camaro on the homepage to see all the products for Camaros

I remember that car!

If you want a different kind of oversized SS hood VFN Fiberglass just came out with a tall SS hood about a month ago I believe.
