ZL1 hood

There is no company that makes the ZL1 hood. Search the name Gripenfelter. He has a black LT1 Camaro with the big block hood from RKSport. He painted the scoop silver. I think it's the closest thing to a ZL1 hood that you can get.

Depends on which ZL1.
The 2002 "Super Cars" aka the ZL1 produced by GMMG use 98-02 SS hoods.
If you are refering to the ZL1 car that John Moss did that was a 93-97 body with a 98-02 front clip and that hood is Not available.

I think the closest thing is the "ZL1" hood from http://dgmotorsports.com/asp/new_products.asp?offset=2
It says it is made of carbon fiber but it probably has a fiberglass undertray with a layer of carbon fiber on top.I have not called to inquire but that is probably true.
It has a 2" scoop and not 4 " and it falls under the category " if you want to play you gotta pay".

actually, the original ZL1 hood was produced by rk sport. I found an old motortrend from 1994(the issue with the callaway camaro on the front) and they had a small section covering the ZL1 camaro. The original ground effects, hood, and spoiler for te ZL1 were designed by RK Sport. The newer hood was probably a custom GM Job as I also found an issue of I believe Car and Driver where they had the ZL1 Boss shootout(gotta love the school library, they have c&d from 89 on up, MT from 93 and up, and r&t from 91 and up) and the ZL1 frontend is actually strecthed a few inches forward, and the hood was designed to clearance th new intake(4 bobble throttle body on top of a carb type manifold) as the original TPI-type manifold blew a gasket or something to that effect.
