Z06 wheels

Will the real Z06 rims from GM fit on a 94 Z28? i like the Z06 style rims and the grayish color that they come in from the factory. And does anyone know how much they would cost from the dealer? thanks

Thumbs up

Fit-- yes. But you will probably have to have the inside ridge of the wheel hole removed so the wheels will fit the rear hub. Recommend this be done at a wheel shop as they will use a lathe which will insure wheel hole symetry and they are not concerned w/ the damage liability issue due to experience w/ this mod.

Price-- I was quoted $2400 for chrome z06's by a dealer insider. Mine are replicas and look exactly like oems at $275/ea compared to $600/ea for oems. Try www.atlanticwheels.com for painted (silver/grey) replicas. Center caps w/ corvette decals came w/ my set. Hope this helps

I run a set of factory 01 Z06 wheels for street duty. I run a 1/4 spacer on the rears to keep from rubbing. Good luck.

Does anyone know where i can find the replica wheels in the dark gray/gunmetal color that they come in from the factory? All these places only sell them in silver or chrome.

These Z06 replica wheels are available in a variety of sizes and finishes to suit your vehicle. Choose from 17 or 18" wheels with finishes in plain silver, polished aluminum or high luster chrome. Priced individually.

Taken from Fast toys.

Paul, I'm still droolin over your Z06 rims also. Here in a few months I'm either going to have a 6 speed tranny or Z06 rims. I found a guy locally who is selling his 6 speed (came out a 95 trans am with 17,000 miles) for 900 bucks. Comes with everything but clutch and flywheel. The only thing I am concerneda bout is I want to do a whole tranny, gears, rearend swap. I'm hoping to put a 6 speed in with a stage 2 clutch and 4:10 gears. This way I will go from what I got now to a much needed improvement. Plus more people will notice me winning with corvette rims then just salad shooters.
