i got my 4' cowl last week and put it on and on the front were it lines up with the bumper it has like a notch that goes all the way across it.so know the hood sits about 1' higher in front than my stock hood.i hope you know what im talking about.on the stock hood it is thin and flat.well this one has a lip.did you guys grind that off or leave it?it looks kinda weird with the lip.and i dont want to get rid of it.its a 4' pin on. please post hood pics if you have any.

I ground mine off. But then reinforced the leading edge with fiberglass.
Had to do some reinforcing to other area's because I pinned it and put Dzus fasteners along the sides.
Also used the stock hinges, without the gas struts, and Dzus'ed those to the hood.
Worked great and on the race car the fact that the fasteners show doesn't realy matter.
