Question Are you satisfied/done with the appearance of your car?

I thought I was, but now I want it to look totally different.

Here is my car as it sits now:

Now I want to make a hood like this:

.....and a spoiler like this for it:

After I get those two made then I want to get it painted NBM with a 25th anniversary stripe in silver and put 19x9.5 chrome ZO6 wheels up front and 20x10 chrome ZO6 wheels out back.

So back to my main question, is anyone finished and satisfied with the way their car looks now? Post up pics if you have them.

-James

The LT1-style mecham hood is close to what you have above. The LT1-style is 6-port though, vs the LS1-style 4-port...

I'm almost done with mine, appearance wise. A little clean up under the hood still, and a paint job next year maybe...

I will definately never be satisfied. There are always little subtle improvements to be made.

(FWIW, that spoiler will fawking ROCK on your car man ! )

Heck, I don't even know what my car looks like right now. I'm installing lowering springs and new brakes, so we'll see what that looks like when I'm done. I should be pretty happy after that. Except for the constant work done to the paint.

Ditto, always improvements, whether they be subtle or not.

Give me about 10 grand and I might be satisfied with it, for a little while at least, then I will need another 10 grand

I don't see what's wrong with Here is my car as it sits now:?! It looks pretty sweet as it is! I do like that other spoiler though.........it's pretty cool.

I'm pretty happy with my car's appearance, except for all the stone chips and pitting from salty roads and winter driving all over the front. The GFX on the front have taken a bit of a $h!t-kicking too from learning where it is (oops! ).

The only things I'd like to do (for appearance's sake) would be to lower the car a little, put some type of nice 18's on it, and eventually have the car re-painted black (the factory Onyx Black is too gray looking?! ) and have the stripes painted on instead of decals like they are now. Otherwise, I like the subtle appearance.........the stripes make a statement, but they're not "in your face" too much IMO.

It's a never ending project...it's good enough until you find more new things that you want to do to it. But that's part of the fun, for me at least, except I never have enough money to keep up with all the projects I want to do, so the it's always a few steps behind what I would ultimately want at the time.

However, there is nothing wrong with your car now, it looks great...but then again, there doesn't need to be anything "wrong" with it to make you want to change something. Anyways, good luck with your plans.

Thanks man, that's exactly how I feel about it. I mean I love my car and I won't lie when it's outside in a parking lot or something I look at it and think "damn that's a sexy car"

I just want something different now.

I so know this feeling. I just had my Firehawk repainted and put new decals on it. Then I put LS-1 style tail lights on it and now I've decided I want to try LS-1 front fenders on it. Has anyone tried LS-1 T/A fenders on a LT-1 car?

Your car looks awesome but the spoiler on the Heratige T/A is just perfect! It will look awesome when your done. I like the MACHO hood, but I don't care for how it looks from the front. I think I like the one you have now better.
