Yet another Clear Corner Comment

What is up with the Diamond clears from Procarparts?

They aren't seating properly and I've had to grind them down to seat correctly. The drivers side light still has a gap on the bottom. I think the bump where the vertical screw goes in is holding it up. I have ground down the bump but I still have a little bit more to go.

What a PITA! So much for "direct fit"...

I took a break to come in here and rant!

You know what, I had a similar problem with the APC style (NON-Diamond Clear) corners. It turned out that I eventually got them to fit like they were supposed to, without grinding anything down. But I was sure I was gonna have to grind away... the only thing I can tell you is to make sure to have alot of light on the subject when u are installin' them. Until I could see EXACTLY what I was doing under there, I was sure they wouldn't fit correctly.

mine fit fine as well. I also drilled a hole in the housing like suggested and I have never had any condensation inside the housing.

Hmmm, that's interesting. I wonder if I just got an irregular set. Of course the stock lights were a perfect fit. The passenger side fit fine. I know there is nothing keeping the driver's side light from fitting in the openning. I guess I'll just have to play with it a bit.

Oh well, somehow I'm sure this all builds character.

Thanks for the responses!

actually come to think of it mine didn't fit so well either......they eventually went it but not without some persuasion. And yes I know a exact fit when I see one.

Mine went in OK...not that it was an easy install in the Mississippi humidity though.

since we have no idea what year your car is, if it's a 93-97, you'll have to come from the bottom of the car. Take out all the plastic parts around the air dam and the air dam itself. You can also do the same for the 98-up, but most people find it easier to just remove the headlights.
