Y2K Vette wheel owners

I am getting Y2K Vette wheels pretty soon from wheelreplicas.com and i am getting 17x9.5(front) and 18x10.5(back0 and i just wanted to know does it rub at all and also what tires do u think i should get. I am thinking 245/45ZR-17 or 255/45ZR-17 for the front and 275/40ZR-18 in the back what do you think? Let me know thanks.

I've got Y2K wheels on mine. 17x9.5 on all. 275/40ZR-17 on all. Don't have any rubbing problems at all. Goodyear GS-C tires. I kept all the same sizes so I could rotate them as needed. 245/45-17 on 9.5" wheels seems kinda small to me but I'm no expert.

ya same here. 17 x 9.5 with 275/40R17 tires all around....no rubbing. I'd say go with the 17's all around because (like Roger'Z28 said) you can rotate, and IMO 18's are too big for the rear of the Camaro...looks funky because the Camaro doesnt have a big *** like the Vette

I would go with 17x8.5 for your v6, there cheaper to start with, there will be more tires available and the tires will be cheaper. and the extra mass won't slow you're car down. It sounds like you've already ordered them though, try using a website like www.tirerack.com to figure what size tires you'll need although i'm sure sooner or later somebody on here know.
