You could have EASILY taken away that scoop and fixed it the way you wanted it...
The car was only $100... NO RESERVE.

yeah but the dealer ended the auction before any bids were placed. im sure he would get at least a couple grand for it regardless of how ugly it is. too bad though, imagine if you could have picked it up for $100. I'd strip the the thing and update my 94 to a 98

I think me and my boyfriend would have both fought it out had we gotten to bid on it before it was closed... lol. $100 would have been nice for ANY f-body... and if it turned out to be something that wasn't worth driving, you'd EASILY make that up in parting it out.
I had emailed him before you posted, and he told me it was already sold Would have been nice.

I would have used the roof scoop money to get some seats that actually match the rest of the interior. Just a thought.

I like it. It's different, and it appears that whoever put that scoop on there, knew what they were doing. Like someone else above said, it's not like they just riveted the scoop on, and left it at that. Personally I wouldn't spend the money to do it, just b/c it's not functional. However, if I had an old Beetle, I would love to do something like that.

The graphics...look like a 90's model nissan 4x4 truck.

Did anybody notice the intake and the airfilter? Correct me if i'm wrong but isn't it supposed to have a lid? That car must be getting some serious power with that HOT air it'll be picking up.
