Question would you buy a polished lt1 intake (just an idea)

I was sitting around tonite being bummed over not having a job or an interview in months. i have all this spare time outside of school and my gf. and i always wanted to polish my intake. i've polished a few things before but i want to put the best work out that i can, if i'm not satisfied i wont be doing anymore of them besides the one i plan to do for me, as a sort of test.

so anyhow, if i can polish them up to suit myself (i'm very picky) i was considering buying more cores and polishing them and selling them on ebay or something like that. i have all the free time in the world and i'm very meticulous (programmer) with everything i do. does anybody have any thoughts or ideas on this, once again its just an idea as of now. but what would you guys pay for something like this i was thinking about 175 or so for a one and thats with no core charge. and for some of you that need the break i might be interested in buying your intake after you dont need it anymore. i dont really plan to do anything high volume as this would be an on the side thing but with the kind of time i have with cores i could most likely turn out around 3 in a week. i would also probably begin to polish tb's after a little while when i get the money to handle that end of it too. i dont have any idea what i'd ask for a polished tb but just figure on the labor being 25 bucks over whatever an average used tb goes for.

so just go ahead and tear this idea apart. i dont have a job i would like to make some money instead of laying around, and i have lots of free time. just tell me what you think. what you would pay etc etc etc. or just tell me this is a bad idea, but tell me why.

somebody surely has something to say about it. street and performance sells just a cover for the fins in the top for $125 polished and you can still see the sides of the intake with fuel rail covers on. i know most of you guys are diy types but some people dont have the time. if nobody responds i guess i'll just post some pics of my work in the next few weeks after i get mine done.

i cant post any pics yet because i havent even gotten a spare to do for myself yet. if i am not satisfied with my abilities i the first one will be my last. when i get one done i will for sure post pictures of it.

slomofo, powder coating is a good idea and i've seen a LOT of them done that way. however i have a silver car and i think powder coating it basicly the same color as it is would look like ***. for my personal car i plan to polish everything that i can under the hood.

if i'm happy with it maybe i can help some other people have it that way too. i know if its something i want and, there are probably others out there who want it too.
