I love my t-tops. If I were to get another Camaro or Firebird it would definitely have t-tops...wouldn't want a vert or coupe...

I have T-tops, but my roomate does and he is fine with it. Now that I think about it, they are good to have, but I can really only take them off in the mid-late fall because it's WAY too damn hot here in Louisiana in the summer and it's too cold for them in the winter. My driver's side one also drips. Do I like them? Yes. However, If I found a nice car without T-tops would I buy it? Yes.

I'm an ex-hardtop owner, and not having t-tops doesn't really bother me. although, I do prefer it because the 4th gen sits fairly low, and combined with the lousy visibility through the windshield... t-tops are a great compromise. plus, they make any 4th gen a great summer car. there's a reason they still made t-tops for the later models.

I won't buy anything but a hard top F-body. I always have built my cars for major track use and t-tops are just not in the cards for me. I know some will argue t-tops are fine for a track car but I think hard tops are the best for that. I've owned two hard top's and would never do anything differently.

and i had a 4th gen z28 same year but almost half the miles but that thing creaked and squeaked like no other. but this car, double the miles feels alot tighter and has no creaks. is that a car to car thing or is that because of having the hardtop?

I had thought that I wanted T-Tops, but it was the farthest thing down on my want list, so I got a car without them.

To tell the truth, I think it would be GREAT to have them for that occassional spring/fall cruise, but the number of times I've taken such a cruise and could have seen having T-Tops in the last year: About twice.

Because mine is a daily driver, I just couldn't see taking them off and on to go to and from work daily.

No T-Tops here and I really don't mind / care. Personally, I am just too damn lazy to pull them off and put them back on. I know it only takes a few minutes. What's really sad is that my Maxima had a sunroof and all I had to do was push a button, but just never felt the desire to use it. Hot air is hot air, it just comes in quicker with the tops. The only time I see when they would be good is during the spring, but then again roll down the windows and you are good to go. And, I don't have any hair for the wind to blow through to feel good.

If I were to buy another F-body, it wouldn't have T-tops. Rarely if ever used them. No problems leaking or squeeking, just never used them. Too hot in Tx mainly, plus I was never comfortable leaving my car anywhere with them off. My next F-body would be a white or silver 6-speed hardtop.

I wouldnt want to own another F-body without T-tops. I dont leave my car anywhere unattended too much or else the tops are always on and its all locked up. Sure its a pain to drive somewhere then immediately put the tops back on and take them off again, but its no big deal to me.
