My 95 z28 is Patriot Red or in other words Maroon. My friends always say my car is purple and blah blah blah. What do u guys think??

 

Your car isn't purple, it's between purple and red. My car is purple, but I don't really mind it, because it's a pretty rare color, and girls seem to like it.

No - I would not consider the color red to be purple.

Nor would I consider a dog to be a cat.

I personally really like the Patriot Red. I think its a really cool color and looks good on a vehicle. I always tell them that it is PATRIOT RED and they are like yea but it still looks like a shade of purple even tho one of these friends says he is partially color blind.

 

I have a medium patriot red Camaro as well. It is MAROON not purple. End of discussion

 

I would have to agree, though I never had anyone say my Z28 was purple, everyone always referred to it as dark red or maroon. I did however have an experience where two girls called it some fruity name of a nail polish they had worn, but the girls were very attractive, so it was excused .

I have NBM, from what I here it was originally a purple but they later decided to modify it to make NBM so it has a slight purple tint to it, but oddly enough its usually when its a little dirty.

But patriot red purple? no way

 

my car is patriot red, and i definately dont see HOW IN THE HELL someone would consider it purple??? It's maroon, or burgundy, or dark red, but purple???... only for the ignorant.

HAHA, alright i feel a little better. I think its a pretty intimidating color if u ask me, it just looks good for a fast car.

 

i have a 94 firebird formula thats patriot red and i love it. I have only seen it one other time on a trans am and ever since that time i had to have one that color. so i bought my formula over the summer no where near purple but some people i know so the same thing so i feel your pain, but screw them n e way, always the ones in the crappy cars talking **** and what doesnt n e one like the 3 spoke factory wheels?? i had to have one with those wheels on it too, pontiac only made those for what only 2 years? those are rare to firebird IMO
