wingswest Custom 4PC KIT

Does anyone have much problems with scraping the front bumper coming out of gas stations or places like that which might have a dip when getting back on the road?

Yes, it is a major problem, especially if the Z is also dropped.

Its not so much the front bumber its the air dam. Mines is like an 1-3/4 from the the ground and I didn't lower my car. With that mabye I'll be a snow plow this year

I have that kit on a lowered Z. I have had it since 1997. I have yet to cause damage to the visible portion of the front piece. However, I scrape the larger air dam all the time!

I don't have trouble going in and out of our local Taco Bell because I know I just can't, period If I'm in that car and I want to eat, I have to go to McDonalds. Burger King, Taco Bell, Wendies, KFC, Long John Silvers, etc., all have too steep of approaches and there is no way I can do it without causing damage.

If it is your only car and your car is lowered, you may want to consider a different kit.

I used to have this kit and I ripped the front piece clean off trying to get up on a shop lift That urathane is durable stuff though, the piece itself was perfectly fine.

Never scraped the front bumper, but ya I can't make it to work without scrap that dam air deflector on something or other. It's durable thou, I've hit it pretty hard on some train crossings. And like brent94z said you'll have to plan your routes to avoid big dips and bumps. Plus don't try to pull straight out of steep driveway. You'll have to angle it.

Edit: oh yea as far as I know my car was never lowered.

Another thing, the reason I sold the kit was not because I tore my front piece off, it was because of the air dam. If you are careful you will not scrape the front piece, however the air dam scrapes EVERYWHERE and gets very annoying very fast, especially if you drive your Camaro all the time. Thats the main reason I sold it and now of course I drive the Camaro a LOT less than I used to.

Another thing I wanted to add is the person I sold the kit to runs it WITHOUT the WW air dam, he has been doing this for like a year and has not had any over heating problems even here in southern California. Just thought I would metnion that, I don't know if anyone has had any problems or if anyone else has even tried using the stock deflector with the WW kit.
