Windsheild polish

http://www.scratchglass.com/pages/glasspolishkit.htm

Ive been looking how to buff out the small scratches in my windsheild caused by the windshield wipers and the small gritty sand that gets between the wipers and the glass. I think this product may be worth looking at if you also have the same problem.

Keep us posted on this! I thought I was the only one that had the problem of scratched glass. Glad to hear I'm not the only one

I must revive this thread. Has anyone found a way to removed windsheild scratches? Or even professionally?

Anyone try this yet:

I got a new windshield installed on my Honda Odyssey for $170 bucks at a professional shop in Brooklyn... not a stolen one like in the Hunts Point area in the Bronx.

Brand new PPG windshield... can't imagine the Camaro's would be much different. That or do an insurance claim if you have a zero glass deductible... it would probably need to be more than just scratched though.

Unscrew antenna, smack windshield one or two times, now you need a windshield. That little ball at the end does a hell of a lot of damage with one good hit.

I have used billet polish before and it seemed to work pretty good.

haha, but what of we have a power antenna? My windsheild needs this too, though it may be beyond help though, they're pretty bad, and I also have gouges on the side windows too. I really don't want to replace the glass since all of it is original and has the VIN on it, which I think is cool.

I don't know about where you live but the NYPD will etch the VIN into all your glass, even the T-tops, for free. You just have to make an appointment at almost any station. And it'll save you a little money on your insurance if you have more than just liability coverage. I would imagine PD's in your area would have a similar service.
