Will SS springs lower your car?

I thought that SS's came with springs that lowered the car a little more than Z28's. Is this true? If so how much do they lower the car?

The upgraded Level II suspension (a $999 option) uses a special Eibach spring made for SLP which lowers the car ~1 inch. This was true in 96 but I'm not sure about the other years.

Just bought my car in december, and when i did he had sprint lowering springs on it. How much lower will it be then a normal? Also, not sure what springs they were, but when he gave them to me as spares they were blue.
