there will be a gap where the cassette holder from the LT1 console used to be. I have seen the gap filled with all kinds of various things.

The gap, IMO, is quite nice. It makes the dash look like a seperate piece from teh console. Its rather civic-ish, but it looks nice.

What does any of this have to do with a civic?

The only problem with it is the gap. It has a cut in the carpet, or atleast mine does where some wires were running from the dash to the ebrake and other various places. But you can cover it with other things or even recarpet the car to cover it up.

I shoved a fluffy snow hat into the gap, covered the bracket and the wires, and wasn't 100% obvious.

Something you'll get hit with one day, and half the state will have a panic attack because they don't know how to drive in it.
