I know this has been beat to death, but before you flame me..... I did a search and spent about 2 hours going through the results without gettting my question completely answered. I will be getting 17" rims and want the widest possible on all four corners without rubbing. I saw plenty of posts for 17X11's, but I don't really want to massage the fenderwells and lips. Anyway, the car is the stock height, so I plan on going a bit taller to get rid of the 4X4 look as well as keep a taller sidewall for better traction. Has anyone run a 10" or 10.5" rim out back without clearance problems? I am probably just going to go with 9.5's up front as I know they'll fit and that is wide enough. Also, what backspacing in to keep it just inside the fenderlip? How about tire size? Thanks
