Yea let us know.

Autometer replied to my email saying:Thank you for your email and interest in Auto Meter Products' Mustang cluster.

We have no tentative plans to expand our cluster series at this time, but we are very excited about the possibilities of future products. Please check back with us in early 2004. If we are to expand the line, we should have decided on what models to include by that time.

Due to the nature of this product, we cannot accept any custom or special orders for our Mustang cluster. However, we do offer Lunar Series instrumentation you may find desirable
for your Pony. You can see it at: http://www.autometer.com/hp/2002_catalog/103/103.html

Thank you again for your question and interest in Auto Meter Products. Best of luck with your project!

Sincerely,
Marc Erickson

He must not have read my mail. I dont have a damn pony He gave a phone # too, so I called him. He said they have no plans to make them, despite the demand I assure him there is. He gave me a phone # of another company making guage clusters. I called them. They only make them for 67-89. She may be mistaken though. Maybe she ment 81 Arnt the 89-91 or so the same?? Anyway, no luck.

95tatom if you could find out how to do this, that would be great. Keep us posted!!

Gotta love when companies don't even read your inquiries completely

Just out of curiosity...how much would you guys be willing to pay if there were one of these made to accept the Auto Meter's? IF it weren't plastic, but metal, and would fit into the stock opening holding some nice custom gauges...

"take away the gauges and around 40"

if you take away the gauges there's nothing left but a flat piece of plastic?

I'm failing to see why everyone wants these so bad, yeah they're probably better quality than stock but whocares, gauges don't make the car go faster or look much better. I see why the rustang guys would want them because their gauges are rinky-dink but the camaro has decent sized gauges. hect these things even look rinky-dink and i think they look worse than stock.

Im gonna have to dissagree with ya there. The stock guages are ok, but those autometer guages are awsome!! I had a S10 truck with a 350 in it, and it had a custom guage cluster with autometer guages, and I loved it. The stock guages arnt accurate at all. I have a scanmaster and it always reads a couple mph off, and the tack in most stock cars is very slow. When racing it coud be several hundred rpm off. You think your shifting at 6k, but really its 6.3k. That bothers me. I dont want to hurt my valvetrain. But once again, they just look sweeeeeeeet!!!

I have been trying to figure out a way to make some of those, and I think I got the details worked out. It will just take some money.

i would do it, but i dont have the aptience or the will power. i do have plenty of time though, and if i could get my hands on a junkyard guage cluster, i could probably craft one. billett or stainless i think would look nice. or maybe black tweed or felt?? im clueless.

Believe me, I have been thinking about it for about 5 years now. I have come up with some incredible things.

Time and money...that's all it would take.

Any investors out there?
