You might want to try sending all the other hood people a request too.
Sounds interesting, at the very least...

it would never work out to look anything like the shakers you are thinking of. reason being is that our hoods slope downward so youd have more of the front exposed then the back of the scoop and im sure that would look aweful. just think about it.. all the old muscle cars and the new Mach all have flat hoods so the shaker idea works and looks great! might have better luck on an 98+ camaro.. their hoods dont slope quite as much as a pre 98 does.
I was wishing that they made a shaker for our cars the other day. I'd have to see pics first though. The hoods (esp. on LT-1s) are really sloped. I would like to see someone make a prototype; the only hood I really like for the Camaro is the factory SS-style one. I want more choices
I was thinking about this the other day.
I don't know how it would look since our hoods slope down so far.
Maybe if they incorporated a low rise cowl hood into the shaker design. Don't know how that might look.

This is what a shaker on a 4th gen f-body should look like! If anybody doesnt know, this is from the Heritage T/A that GM Performance Division made last year (There's also a Sunoco #6 Camaro tribute car) I think it looks pretty damn sweet
Here's more pics of both cars:
