Post who makes the best looking cowl.....

Except I want to know who's hood looks the best underneath on the bottom side of the hood? I don't want to be able to see any of the fiberglass fibers......

Cool

VFN make a nice fiberglass cowl hood. However, my VFN is not finished/smooth on the underside. But, that could be because I only paid $208 for the hood They most likely could smooth it out on the bottom if they wanted to.

Cool

I can never keep the brands straight but personally I like the 2" cowl that doesn't have the line running down the center. I know I've seen them on ebay. Anyone know what the heck I'm babbling about to help him out?

Jason

EDIT: sorry I didn't read the whole post I have no idea what the underside looks like

From the pictures I've seen, my vote is for the ASCD hood. It seems to be simple and to the point - I like the clean look.

EDIT: I don't know what the underside looks like, though

brent, i actually was thinking of a hood like yours because i like the fact that it kept the body lines to the heat extractors. i eyeballed the underside of yours when you opened it at the gathering. i was thinking of the u.s.body one, but people really don't have a lot of nice things to say about them. does anybody have any idea of who else has a hood with a finished underside.

I think the Harwood cowl hood is the best...the area that is raised is not narrow like the others..its very wide and looks great!

I second the Harwood. The cowl follows the original heat extractor lines of the stock hood, so it starts out narrow, and gets wider as it goes up the hood. Looks awesome.

Question

Brent, off-topic here, but what does your blown Z do in the quarter? What about the SS's times?

i have the harwood cowl hood and i love it. It is finished underneath, no fibers showing at all. you can even use the heat mat from your original if you so choose. IMO it is very high quality. good luck
