Who here lowered there 93-02 camaro/firebird? Question

I have a 94 camaro z28. I did not want to put ground effects on the car. I was thinking about using those eibach lowering springs. --- I think thats the name of the brand - I could be wrong. Well anyways It supposed to drop the car 2".. For everyone who did this - can you actaully tell the car has been lowered or is it barelly noticable?? I have the traction action lift bars and 17 -9.5" z06 rims all way around -- not sure but can I lower my car without modifications?? - Have any pictures ---or problems with the car beeing lowered - like that air deflector picking up or dragging objects as you run over something?? - please anybody let me know

Trust me you'll be able to tell a difference if you drop your car 2". I dropped mine about 1.5" on average and I could really tell a difference. And yes, you should be able to lower your car with no other mods. You may want to buy an adj. PHR to center the rear. Here's a link to pictures of my car after it was lowered.

I put the Pro Kit on my 94Z supercharged car and it is pretty low. I also have the Pro Kit on my 94Z convertible and it is low too. It sounds like you are talking about the Sportline kit which lowers the car even more! IMO, stick with the Pro kit. Here is a picture of mine with the Pro Kit...

Here are some pics of the convertible with this kit too...

Thumbs up Re: Who here lowered there 93-02 camaro/firebird? Question

Dont I need those relocation brackets for my lift bars?? - - I just love that picture of your 94 supercharged z28. That car looks too mean to mess with on the streets. I recently had that headlight conversion done but did the hella 90mm which came out good. Those round headlights changes the look of that car big time. - Awesome car Brent

Are you talking about rear lower control arms when you say lift arms? The relocation brackets are a good idea once you lower your car, but they're not needed.

Thanks for help. After deciding not to go with the ground effects. I figure lowering would be a better idea. - Mike

Thanks! Also, if I were to do it over again, I'd do the Hella lights as well
