I just got done painting my Z28 emblems, they came out alright. How many of you all have done this and what was your outcome? And of course, how did you do it? I think I'm gonna do them again for another coat.

From far away they look stellar, but up close, you can tell they're not perfect.

 

I painted mine silver with plasti-cote and then put some clear coat on top of them. They came out sweet! This was like a year ago or something and they have held up great.

 

I didn't paint mine but I used reflective overlays and then sprayed on a few dozen coats of acrylic. Came out very nice.

 

I painted mine a year and a half ago with auto spray paint and clear coat. They still look perfect.
