Looking for pics of an LT1 Camaro with Hooker tips. I ordered the cat back yesterday and not sure if I want to put those tips on or keep the stock tips. What do you guys think and anyone have anypics?

I was never a big fan of those tips so when I got my catback system, I painted the insides of the pipes and tips and gave the tips to a friend of mine who had the same setup, as his tips had rusted. I used some stainless mailbox type tips instead, but its all personal as far as appearance is concerned anyway. Go with what you like.

 

I think one day I will go back to the factory tips or the large singles but this is what the quad tips looks like on my car. They stick out a few inches too far:

Thanks guys. I think I'll stick with stock for now. Anyone have pics or seen anyone with Chromed stock tips?

 

I've seen chrome tips based off the stock ones. The aftermarket ones don't have the inner lip on them like the stock ones unfortunately and are VERY angular. I think they look pretty nice, but I'd still prefer they have the inner lip.

 

I wonder how much it would cost to have the stock ones chromed?..

 

My mom has a nice pair of chrome mail slit tips on her z, and they have a lip like the stock ones. They look really good

They are on ebaymotors at times but I've not seen chrome, only stainless and the price is $50 or $60 for the pair if I remember right.
