tbehling: for what it's worth... riding "SLAMMED" is very overrated.
If you are considering slamming your car, PLEASE drive a friends slammed vehicle first. It changes the entire scheme of things.

I wouldn't recommend it for a daily driver, unless your streets stay in perfect condition AND you also fully upgrade your shocks/struts.

My car is not slammed but lowered using Granatelli springs. I don't see how you could have a slammed car as a daily driver. Even with my moderate drop, I still have to watch where I drive.

On my daily driver, I have about 2.5" of clearance under the air dam for the radiator, but still have a usable amount of wheel travel.

Making that relatively small amount of wheel travel useful was tricky, but my suspension is adjustable for damping rates, spring rates, and spring hieght. This allows me to tune the car so that it rides firm while avoiding the 'bouncing off the stops' feeling that others warn about.

(note the 10.5" wide wheels front and back)

Actually, those pictures were taken like 4-5 years ago and I swear it is LOWER now than then.

Here is a picture that shows it pretty low...

And here is a recent picture of the air deflector. Less than 2" clearance

Here are some more pictures showing how low it now is. I can't even run over a dead squirrel in the road... have to swerve around those as well. LOL!
