Am I the only one that thinks these LT1s are kinda boring? I mean come on, new rims and that's it? Wow, just another Camaro...

 

i don't think most of them are boing at all. I think they are just tastefully done. I like camaros more when they are tasteful instead of over the top

 

I'm not trying to bust on you car 94z28blue but it seems to me that with heads, cam, gears, throttle body, full bolt ons, ect you should be making WAY more then 282 RWHP. With catback i made 270 RWHP. That is still a really nice car though.

 

Well said. Just because you throw a lot of aftermarket stuff on a car doesn't make it look good. Also not everyone is going to like the same thing.

 

its cool dude, um yeah i thought so too i guess that was the dyno #'s before the heads and cam, at least thats what he told me when i picked it up. Also he said that its not completly accurate becasue the stall effects the way it dynos and there can be as much as a 20% loss or something. I don't really care so much about the #'s because it's fast enough to beat an ls1 (with few mods) so i know that they cant be right. thanks for the compliments though

I agree with that too, but I'd never consider a Camaro with like nothing more than a new set of rims as it's appearance mod as being one of the "best looking" LT1s when it's talking about modded ( or else everyone's stock LT1 would be the best )

 

You have a great looking camaro to put a LT1 into . my last 94 red Camaro was just a plain jane camaro & I took it to awesome that one already had a Lt1 we just beefed it up . No my new black one in the second pic it had allot of the appearance stuff already done I just changed things around like the rims , rear spoiler & Im most proud of my V6 swap it was the greatest thing Ive ever done to the car & I did it by myself , well with some help from the CamaroZ28 community & a couple friends here & there . Have you considered pulling that V6 & dropping the LT1 , like I said you have a great car to do that with & its well worth it. As for appearance mods I feel like a few guys have said Everyone has there own style & everyone makes there car to them so we shouldn't rip on anyone ( UNLESS ITS WAY OVER THE TOP) then we can trash them but "TO EACH HIS OWN" I love every camaro built & I take pride driving my car every time Im behind the wheel. Thank you to Chevy fir making a true Legend & I cant wait for the legend to come back even better . Thanks for the compliments. I guess ya put it best though, and made some good points. Truthfully, what I really want to do is drop a 383 stroker in, but my parents are cussin up a storm because of all the added suspension and chasis mods that I'd have to do to handle all the extra power. What I'll probably do is just buy a 1st or 2nd gen project car with a strong v8 engine in it and then bring it together and have that be my "power car" and let this be my "show car"
