I saw a pic of whistler's grille and i would like to do something similar to my car. What exactly has he done? I believe he took out the black insert that comes stock and painted what was under it the color of the car. Then mounted some kind of grille in the remaining holes. Does anyone know what material is mounted in the holes? Any comments will help. Thanks

 

Thats the jist of it, he also elongated the nose a few inches. I believe any type of material from grilles that is out would work. Aluminium, billet...whatever you want.
