where to mount neon underbodies
Everyone likes something different- here's my setup:
in the front, i mounted it on the air dam- flush in that 120 degree "corner" **in front of the air dam**
on the back, the 30" tube fits quite nicely right inside the space between the rear bumper and trunk above the exhaust- it should be a little tight, but it'll fit- mount the screws on the trunk base side.
for the sides, I mounted mine right outside the little "fin" that runs down the side and is about 1/4 cm thick (really thin fin)- it will not fit flush if you put it on the inside of the fin.
by doing this, you can see the bulbs from about 20+ feet away, so i got a long piece of plastic shaped like and L and painted it black and screwed it into the underside outside the fins when i screwed in the mounting brackets (no pics sorry)- this plastic hangs down about an inch and is black so it blends w/ the underside of the car- and now all you get is glow and no show (of the bulbs)
Hope this helps some,
Jay

you can actually put then inside the 'fin' That's where I got mine. But you will need a lift to do so. Basically, you'll have to come up in an angle infront of the LCA bolt. Push it through and then bring the other end up as you push the bulb though. It'll take some work, but do it slow and carefully and you'll make the blub fit. As you bolt it down, the bulb will be slightly bent, but it'll be fine. The front and rear bulbs are pretty much simple to install.
