Where to get Trans Am door panels???

I was thinking about swapping to the Trans Am door panels until I learned about the nasty crack that forms in them. I read up on it, and it is actually caused by a staple holding the window weatherstripping pushing on the plastic. I was going to go the used route until I saw half of the ones on ebay were cracked. Now I'm afraid to buy anything used because it might crack on me. So should I just take my chances on a used set, or should I buck up and buy new panels for $300 a pop from GM parts direct?

I've owned 3 sets and none of them had the crack. The ones in my car now were out of a very used and abused 93 TA if they weren't cracked in that car they aren't gonna crack. Maybe its something that only happens on the newer LS1 panels.

What color are they? My interior is Graphite, a medium grey, and a 1999 model.

Good idea, i believe there are at least 3 gm shade of gray maybe more, and no one ever knows exactly what gray they have. Thats one of the reasons i've owned several sets of TA door panels. If you are perfectionist like me you will want them to match exactly and the color code is the only way.
