I love the look of the grills on the ZL1 cars. I AM *NOT* trying to clone a ZL1, I just want the grill. I like the billet look, plus the emblem on the front really sets it off. Where can I get one from? Thanks guys!

 

i just put a stull billet black powder coated grill on my 01 SS and used a 69 Rally Sport Grill SS emblem and it looks just like the Intimidator SS. I'm sure you could get the polished grill from them and get that look, the bowtie emblem might be something of a different matter. the bowtie that was used on a 69 camaro will probably have more of a rake since it was more than likely never used on an RS grill. the RS and SS grill for 69 had a different degree of bend.

 

So what would I use? An RS or an SS emblem? Thanks for the idea!

 

I used the SS emblem for the RS grill, there were RS/SSs then, they were SS's with the hideaway headlights, if you want the SS in the grill go with that. I've done it so I know it works. if you want a bowtie, like the GMMG ZL-1, I have no idea what emblem to use. every description i can find just says that its a 69 "style" bowtie emblem..i'd try something like this...
