Where can I find a nice White shift ball?
Where can I find a nice White shift ball?
Nothing fancy, just want to find a normal white shift ****. The one I have now is crap, and needs to be replaced. I plan on replacing the shifter later (unsure what one as of yet), but for the time, I'd like to just change the shifter from black to white to match my car.
It's a White 2001 Z
Also, if I do get an aftermarket shifter, would the one that I get to fit on the car's stock shifter work on the aftermarket one?
Thanks.

I was checking on line there, and found this:
Hurst Shifter ****: White classic **** with 6-speed shift pattern

This is very close to what I want, but it says this:
"These original-style Hurst Classic Shift ***** are available with a 6-speed shift pattern, and are a direct fit for 2003 and later Ford Mustang Cobra using the factory shifter or the new Hurst Billet/Plus. Measuring 2-1/4" in diameter. Features a 12mm x 1.75 threaded brass insert and supplied with a jam nut."

We've got some nice ball shifter ***** and they are on sale. Nothing white though. We have some plain satin and black ones.

I ordered one for my V6 through autozone. It's a Hurst and it's plain, other than the shiftgate (in otherwords, it doesn't say Hurst on the side like that one). It cost me $53 at the time, but they've come down a little since.
Mine is a White Hurst **** that i got from Jegs. It fits the stock shifter threads. I actually have the old style Hurst billet plus shifter and it wouldn't fit my shifter until i made an adapter. My **** does not say Hurst on it at all. It just has the shift pattern, but i've had mine for several years and maybe they've changed that.
