yep Hella FF75's. The cheapest place to get them is off ebay from a seller with the name offroad911. He sells sets of 2 buy it now for $37.99 shipped. Its one of the best bang for the buck mods i did on my car.

 

do they come with the relays they talk about in that writeup?

 

Yes they do. They come with the wiring harness, relay and lights in the kits that i listed above. If you plan to just use the stock 55 watt bulbs i would just splice the lights into the stock wiring harness. I ended up going up to 100 watt bulbs so i used the hella harness and wired in the relays.

Yeah i bought them off ebay for $10 shipped a set.

 

100 watt bulbs? You guys ever have any problems with melted connectors? I ran some of those cheap blue bulbs that run at 85 watts and they melted the connectors on my 99Z. I recently had an HID retro done on my 2000 SS after running with an HID kit for a while. I will never go back to anything else.

Maybe i'm wrong but you probably needed to upgrade the wiring harness.
