I'm 100% serious (no insult at all), but they can be found at Pep Boys in what I call the ricer section. I have some red ones for the interior of my Z, and I get many compliments.

if you get the one that looks like <===> you can just bend the tabs to fit the points on the end. Be forewarned though, the bulbs at pepboys are painted glass and it will flake off in a matter of time.

i went to the local lightbulb store and baught some very thin theatrical gell that they put over the super hot lights for plays and stuff to change their colors. you must get the thin stuff or it'll block out too much light and it'll be worthless. just cut it in a square to fit the cover and slide it onto the inside of the light fixture and you've got a blue light

had mine in there for awhile and it never melted and looked great. i tried using high temperature lightbulb translucent color paint that claimed it was good till 400 degrees F but it burnt off seconds after the light turned on.

Ive had the blue ones from Pep Boys and after a while they start to look like hyperwhite, not blue anymore. I currently have the red ones in there now and I did a little test I left one disconnected and one connected and the bulb that has been connected for about a month looks pink compared to the other one. Im going to look into that theatrical gel stuff.

I scuffed up the inside of the lense and lightly spray painted it a blueish tint. I did the same to the map lights on my rearview mirrors. It shines through blue and hasnt faded or flaked in the 3 months I've had it spray painted. It's pretty cool but it's irreversible this way.

Try the truck stop. No, really. I'm a truck driver. At the larger truck stops there is usually a pretty good selection of different types of colored lights.
