Where to buy polished altinator?

My stock altinator is done for. I wish to purchase a new one, but thier all such eyesores to look at. I really liked the polished versions. I don't want to waste valuable porno time by spending it sanding and polishing a stock altinator. Does anyone sell them polished out the box for the LT-1?

There's also this place, which offers the same brand in polished, chrome, and painted finishes in various amperage outputs:

(Scroll down to GM Alternator Model #: 8173N)

Might be worth calling to see how their price(s) compare to the first link.

I've heard the chrome plated ones aren't good because they hold heat and typically have shortened life spans. Anyone else heard of this? I think the polished would look nice.
