you're front wheels will always be diry b/c of brake dust, but it seems like your breaks are eating up the pads pretty quickly. You may want to get that checked out if only a few days of driving causes that much break dust. but then ofcourse it depends on how much and how hard you use your breaks. If all is fine, I suggest going with ceramic break pads. I've been told that they have little to no break dusts.

I agree with the other guy. One other thing I'd try is to put a coat of some sort of polish or sealer on them to make the surface less pourous and thus more difficult for the brake dust to adhere to. Also, If you're dressing your tires and getting a lot of overspray on your rims, this will magnify the problem. I used to detail for Lexus. Those are some things I would look at. Hope that helps.

I had the same problem and finally got fed up and bought a set of EBC Greenstuff pads from Tirerack.com . They work beautifully in rain, and a huge improvement in stopping ability compared to normal cheap pads I had before. My old pads were only a couple thousand miles old, but left lots of dust. I use to wash them every other day. Now I only wash once every 2 weeks.
