Thumbs up wheel post: which ones?

Well, since my car is gonna be looking badass when it gets out of the shop, the wheels are gonna be the only set back to the looks. I've been contemplating getting some wheels, but since wheels can make or break a car, Im still stuck on which ones

choices:
Black Z06's

Chrome Y2K C5's

Chrome Z06's

I havent decided who to purchase from. That will be determined when I find out who I can get a better employee discount from

the car is in my sig, but when I get it back it will have a ram air hood and some silver flames. What do you guys think? Im open to other suggestions

I'm partial to the chrome z06er's, I've got them on my ride. I think the black one's look slick too. I'd say if you're going to spring for nice rims get the nicest, Z06.

I love the black Z06's but I think the chrome Z06's will look better than the black ones might be too much black you know

im thinking that as well with the black z06's, but im thinking the silver flames woul help offset some of that black. Also, the black ones are high on the list becuase its different, but then again, the car itslef will look different from others. Also, I could probably get an AWESOME deal on the chrome z06's through AFS

Those "Z06" rims look more like HRE 541 knock-offs. Which means they look GOOD.

Given any thought to cleaning out all those bolt holes for shows? ouch!

I think they'd look good, and I vote for the chrome HRE 541 knock-offs.

All 3 will look good but the black Z06 rims will definately give you huge points with the unique factor. The only question is how good will they look compared to the chrome. I think its time to call in the photoshop experts and have them stick em on your car.

I think the C5s look really good on F bodies. I don't like the bolts on the Z06s because they are fake since it's a 1 piece wheel. Also they are all kind of expensive for repro wheels.

i usually see them on ebay running for 800 a set, although through their website, they are more. I gotta find out how much my work will get them for from AFS, and figure out my discount from that point. but damn, I was messing around looking at the computers yesterday, good lord 275/35/18 tires are EXPENSIVE

Yea i got lucky on the auction.
As for tires I ordered some off of Discount Tire Direct, 275/35/18s Yokohama's for 175/ea with free shipping.

AFS has a lot of auctions though with the rims and tires already mounted for around 1100 i would guess, I would have just gone with them but my first plan was to use other tires which ended up not working out.
